Work Love

My life is filled with passion and purpose, and I’m deeply thankful for the many gifts God has given me. When I’m not busy running my small business, I find great joy in restyling homes of all kinds. Right now, I’m working on a charming lake house that’s in need of a little tender loving care. Its structure is solid, and the stunning Ozark rock it’s built from adds such timeless character. One of my favorite features is the expansive front porch that stretches across the entire front of the home — it’s full of potential and country charm.

New windows, doors, and a bit of demo work are next on the list, but while I wait for those updates to begin, I’m enjoying the creative process of choosing pieces that will enhance the home without taking away from its authentic, rustic beauty. I love that we now have the ability to shop online, read reviews, and take our time finding the perfect details that make a home shine.

In between the renovation plans, I’m also knee-deep in soap making — my first love and the heart of my business. There’s something soulfully satisfying about spending your days doing what you love. It nourishes the spirit in a way nothing else can. As someone who’s been creating for most of my life, I can’t imagine the emptiness I’d feel if I didn’t have that creative outlet. It’s truly a blessing to live a life so beautifully intertwined with passion, purpose, and gratitude.
