Summer in the soap studio
If you've been looking for one of our Cloud Lather Sponges, you've probably noticed they're gone!
The response to their release has been incredible. We honestly didn't expect them to disappear quite so quickly, and we're so grateful that so many of you have fallen in love with them. Thank you for making this new addition such a success.
The good news? I'm already planning the next batch.
I'll be making more Cloud Lather Sponges in time for the Holiday Season, but because they're handcrafted, they can't simply be restocked overnight. Each sponge is generously infused with Bittersweet Soap and, just like every bar of soap we make, they require four to six weeks of curing time before they're ready to use.
That curing process is one of the most important steps. It allows the soap to harden properly, creating a longer-lasting product with the luxurious, creamy lather that Bittersweet is known for. While it takes patience, it's a step I'll never rush.
Summer may look peaceful from the outside, but inside the studio it's one of the busiest times of the year. While many people are thinking about vacations and backyard gatherings, I'm already preparing for autumn and the holidays. Soap is being poured, products are curing on shelves, labels are being wrapped by hand, and plans are underway for our most anticipated collections of the year.
Handmade has never been the fastest way to make something—but I've always believed it's the best way.
Every Cloud Lather Sponge, every bar of soap, and every skincare product that leaves the studio has been created one batch at a time with carefully chosen ingredients, attention to detail, and nearly thirty years of experience.
If you missed the first release of our Cloud Lather Sponges, don't worry. They'll be returning for the holidays, and I think you'll find they're worth the wait.
